Watch the
squad.
Earn on two.

Every stream you follow, playing on one wall. And unlike a browser full of tabs, SquadView banks real Twitch channel points and watch-streaks on two of them at once — because it runs two genuine logged-in players, not embeds.

Why this exists

the earning problem

Every web multi-viewer shows you everything and earns you nothing — embeds never count toward points or streaks. SquadView runs two real, logged-in twitch.tv players, so the two streams you care about actually bank while the rest of the squad plays on the wall.

// Twitch only credits ~2 concurrent streams per account — enforced on their side.
// So the ceiling is 2. SquadView's whole job is making those 2 count, every minute,
// then rotating your favourites through them so nobody's streak gets missed.

Capabilities

11 / 11
01Two earning slotsReal logged-in twitch.tv, really playing — the only thing Twitch credits. Points chests, watch-streaks, all of it.
02Auto-streak rotationStar your channels; one switch rotates every live one through your slots until its ~10-minute streak banks, then moves on. Pinned + focused slots are never touched.
03Watch the squadDetects real Stream Together sessions and loads the whole group in one click — two into slots, the rest onto the wall.
04The wallEvery other live follow, muted and anonymous so it can't compete with your earning slots. Drag anywhere to rearrange.
05Real chatPop out any chat. Click a stream and the cursor lands in its box — your messages send and count.
06Ad auto-muteThe focused slot mutes itself through ad breaks and comes back after. No surprise volume.
07Data saverStream just the top wall tiles and click-to-load the rest — a big wall stays smooth on a modest machine.
08Keyboard + zoomSpace mutes, 1 / 2 jump slots, F is full view, Ctrl ± zooms the interface, panels resize. Built like a real app.
09Search all of TwitchFind channels you don't follow, live first with viewer counts. Watch, follow, or open their subscribe page — without leaving the app.
10BTTV · FFZ · 7TV emotesThird-party emotes render in chat like they do with your browser extension, pulled per channel. No extension, no login.
11Bonus chest alertsA badge tells you the moment a channel-points chest is up so you can claim it yourself. Claiming it for you is optional and off by default.

FAQ

the real questions
Q1Is this allowed on Twitch?+
The earning side is: SquadView opens real twitch.tv pages that actually play — functionally two browser tabs, organized. It never fakes watch signals, never runs bot viewers, and never auto-posts chat (we deliberately refused to build that). The wall streams are anonymous embeds that don't even register as you watching. One exception, and it's yours to make: there's an optional, off-by-default setting that claims bonus channel-point chests for you. That one is automation, Twitch's rules discourage it, and the app explains the trade-off before you switch it on. Leave it off and nothing in SquadView automates a Twitch action.
Q2Why only two earning streams?+
Because Twitch itself credits about two concurrent streams per account — enforced server-side, unchangeable by any app. SquadView makes sure your two count every minute while you still watch everyone else on the wall.
Q3What does auto-streak mode actually do?+
Star the channels you care about. When they're live, SquadView rotates them through the two slots — each watches ~10 minutes (a watch-streak's requirement), banks, and the slot moves to the next. Pin a slot to hold your main; the other keeps rotating. A pinned or focused stream is never pulled, muted, or resized.
Q4Does it work for Drops?+
Drops progress one channel at a time per Twitch's rules — so pin one slot on the Drops stream and let the other do streak duty. Progress accrues like normal watching, because it is normal watching.
Q5Why does Windows warn me?+
It isn't code-signed. SmartScreen warns on every unsigned download. More info → Run anyway. The SHA-256 checksum in the release block lets you verify the file is the real one.
Q6Mac or Linux?+
Windows only for now — the earning slots depend on an embedded Chromium view that Windows handles cleanly. If enough people ask, that can change. Come ask on the BeardedTortle stream.
